2006 SRIXON TOUR RESULTS

BELMONT GOLF CLUB - June 21, 2006
Four tie at the top in a ‘Strong’ finish at Belmont With a score of 69 and tying for first place with Phil Jonas of McCleery, Mark Strong of Richmond CC and Murray Poje of the Maple Leaf Tour, Bryn Parry of Seymour Creek Golf Center continued to lengthen his lead in the Lower Mainland Srixon Tour’s Order of Merit standings. Both Jonas and Poje are now multiple winners on the tour this year, but for Strong, this was his best finish of the year and brings him into the top 10 on the Order of Merit standings. Belmont was our 9th event on our 15 tournament schedule for 2006 and marked the third time when the Srixon ball won the ball count over any other brand of ball. The Order of Merit Leader at the completion of our last regular season event will gain an exemption into the Canadian Assistant’s Championship as a member of the BC Team.
